"A perfection of means, and a confusion of aims, seems to be our main problem." - Albert Einstein

"A new consciousness is developing which sees the earth as a single organism and recognises that an organism at war with itself is doomed.

We are one planet.

One of the great revelations of the age of space exploration is the image of the earth finite and lonely, somehow vulnerable, bearing the entire human species through the oceans of space and time...
Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive and flourish is owed not just to ourselves, but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we spring."

- Carl Sagan, Astronomer

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us "Universe", a part limited in time and space.

He now experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.

This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.

Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of understanding and compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of Nature in her beauty.”

- Albert Einstein

"Humanity is at a watershed.

We are living in a time of exponential opportunity & risk, where we have the choice to enhance or destroy the Planet.

Humanity is increasingly polarized, with particular radical polarities in:

(i) Wealth

(e.g. the top 85 people own more assets than the bottom 3.5billion people),

(ii) Gender

(e.g. globally men are disproportionately represented in key developmental dimensions - such as health, wealth, education, employment, formal corporate & political leadership, etc.),

(iii) Age

(e.g. young & old people are prejudiced in countless respects, including antiquated educational systems, job opportunities, consultation on the future, etc.),

(iv) Origin/race/class

(e.g. there is an alarming prejudice at being born in the so-called 'developing world', or as a 'non-white', or as a member of the lower socio-economic class, etc.)

The Lotu$100 by eliciting the rare experiential wisdom of its uniquely self-diversified & integrated membership, is a vehicle to proactively collapse & integrate these polarities."

- Darshita Gillies, Co-Founder Blu Dot

"The heroic business is motivated by the desire to change the world,
not necessarily through service to others or through discovery and the pursuit of truth, or through the quest for perfection,
but through the powerful promethean desire to really change things –
to truly make the world better, to solve insoluble problems, to do the really courageous thing even when it is very risky, and
to achieve what others say is impossible."

- John Mackey
